SWC-TV is operated by the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission. SWC-TV is dedicated to producing and broadcasting local government and community programming for cable subscribers in South Washington County.

Four full-time producers produce, shoot, and edit government and community programming for member cities.

Government access is a priority for the SWCTC. SWC-TV Channel 16 conducts over 23 live broadcasts of city council and commission meetings each month and replays them throughout the week. Audio/video checks are performed prior to each city meeting to ensure signal quality.

Channel 16 airs programming seven days a week 24 hours a day. Important messages pretaining to member cities are looped on the Channel 16 bulletin board in between programing.

SWC-TV has produced several award winning programs and received honors for the finest in government programming from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA), Minnesota Association of Telecommunications Advisors (MACTA), Alliance for Community Media, and the Minnesota Association of Government Communicators.

City Channel 18 airs professionally-produced programming from the cities of Cottage Grove, Newport, St. Paul Park, Woodbury, Grey Cloud Island Township, and surrounding areas.

Community Channel 14 broadcasts programming produced or sponsored by local residents. Community messages will be posted for non-profits on the Channel 14 bulletin board. No messages containing advertising for profit will be allowed.
